The Beatrix Potter DVD Collection Review & Giveaway


One of my favourite books when I was little was The Tale of Peter Rabbit. I loved listening to the stories of the little rabbit and had a matching bowl, spoon and egg cup set! My son received his first Beatrix Potter book at Christmas which happened to be Peter Rabbit and I've been reading it to him ever since. 

To celebrate Beatrix Potter's 150th Birthday this year we were asked to review the new Beatrix Potter DVD Collection Box Set including nine beautifully animated stories:

DVD 1: The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends 
The Tale of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny, The Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies and Mrs Tittlemouse and The Tale of Tom Kitten and Jemima Puddle-Duck

 DVD 2: The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and Mr Jeremy Fisher and Other Stories
The Tale of Mrs Tiggy-Winkle and Mr. Jeremy Fisher, The Tale of Mr Tod: The Further Adventures of Peter Rabbit and Benjamin Bunny and The Tale of Two Bad Mice and Johnny Town-Mouse 

 DVD 3: The Tale of Pigling Bland and Other Stories
The Tale of Pigling Bland, The Tale of Samuel Whiskers or The Roly-Poly Pudding and The Tailor of Gloucester

    So I can add the DVD's to my niece's collection. I watched Beatrix Potter as a small child and I wish she could see how lovely the stories are too. :)

    Oh how lovely! I kept my childhood copy of The Tale of Peter Rabbit and my little boy has loved me reading it to him! My sister had the Peter Rabbit breakfast set too! (I had Bunnykins ;-)) Jenni x
