Pip and I recently attended the opening of the new
Happyology Store in Brighton, a luxury baby and children's clothing boutique in the North Laine area of town. With one store in Leamington Spa this is Happyology's debut in Brighton, selling a high quality range of beautiful clothes made from the finest materials. Happyology's aim is to apply traditional features and techniques to every garment to provide a unique collection of children's clothing and accessories. I do love this shopping area in
Brighton as there are many great independent boutiques and it's always nice to discover new stores. Happyology sells clothes from newborn to age seven and their collection includes essentials for babies, sleepsuits, dungareers, jeans, cardigans, pyjamas, shoes, hats, dresses and gift sets. Being the store's opening there were balloons, food and drinks, much to Pip's delight!

Whilst my son made an impression on the staff by running up and down and deciding to paint a tiger on his own face with their face paints (thank you to the staff for keeping him amused), I had time to look at the clothes and take some photos. They do have many lovely newborn items and although the new summer collection wasn't in when we visited I saw some lovely photos from the seaside photoshoot (second photo below).

I had been looking for a cardigan to be used for smart and semi-casual occasions and found the perfect one in the store. The Stretch Jersey Cardigan is currently on sale at £25. I really do love the design and the colour including the decorative little pattern on the pocket border and rim. It's stretchy and I love the fact that it's unisex. I can imagine taking my son to a wedding or party or even a just a nice day out wearing this. We also reviewed this Blue Bears Printed Top which is £22. With a cute little bear design this long sleeve top is ideal for this time of year. Here are some photos I shot in our garden with my little one, wearing his new cardigan and top (trousers and shoes are his own).

Both clothes are made from stretchy material and although my son turns three next month he's wearing 3-4 years. I thought these might come up too big but the size is perfect with room to grow in over the summer. My son has always been big for his age though and I was told that most of the collection comes up big rather than small. I can see him lasting into these clothes for a while! Size wise you can purchase both the cardigan and top from 9 months to 7 years! I do love the fact the sizes go up to 7 years, plenty of time left for my little boy!

Both of the items are more than I would usually spend however they make up for it in quality. You can tell just by feeling them. Happyology is a lovely little store with beautiful clothes and these would make perfect presents for newborns or any age. Pop in if you're in Brighton otherwise you can see their collection on the
Happyology website, where they are offering 15% off first orders and free UK delivery when spending over £50. They also deliver worldwide! Located at 41 Bond Street, Brighton, the store is open between 10am-6pm Monday-Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday.
