Green People Organic Babies Gift Set Review & Giveaway

Recently I have been reviewing the Organic Babies 'Hello Baby' Boy Gift Set by the Green People. The Green People are known for their organic ingredients and fantastic range of quality products. 90% of their range is certified by one or more of the following bodies: the Soil Association, the Organic Food Federation and EcoCert. The Green People never use aggressive ingredients or synthetic chemicals in their products and they never test on animals. What's more, they are a local company close to Brighton so a bonus for me.

For the first year of my little boy's life we rarely used any products on his skin. We used some oil for his cradle cap and cream for nappy rash but little else as he really didn't need it. Fast forward to toddler age and picture jumping in muddy puddles, rolling down slippery slopes, frolicking in sand pits, putting sticky hands in hair and everywhere else and hence, looking for a suitable product becomes important! Since having a baby I have become a lot more eco-friendly and 'green'. My little boy's skin is still so soft and delicate and I want to know what is in a product before using it. We've used organic baby products before but this is the first time we tried products from the Green People. 

The Organic Babies 'Hello Baby' Boy Gift Set consists of:

- Lavender Baby Wash & Shampoo, 100ml

- Dry Skin Baby Lotion (fragrance/scent free), 30ml

- Lavender Soothing Baby Salve, 30ml

My favourite product has been the Lavender Baby Wash and Shampoo. I've always loved the smell of lavender and really enjoy washing my little boy's hair in this. He wasn't a fan of shampoo to start with but now says 'shampoo' excitedly whenever I rinse his hair. The smell of lavender remains in his hair the next day and I couldn't resist so tried it out on my hair too. It was lovely! The Soothing Baby Salve can be used for nappy rash, cradle cap and it is suitable for skin that is prone to eczema and psoriasis. This too has a gorgeous lavender scent. The Dry Skin Baby Lotion is a gentle product for delicate skin. Consisting of organic aloe vera, shea butter and calendula it has a very subtle scent and has worked well on my little boy's legs which can get dry, probably from all of that tumbling! I really enjoyed reviewing these products and I will definitely be using them again in the future.
